Getting Started

How do I create a campaign?

Sign up for a free account, select 'Client' role if prompted, and navigate to your dashboard. Click 'Create Campaign' and fill in your campaign details including title, description, goal amount, and images.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit card payments via Stripe and Bitcoin payments via BTCPay Server. Both methods are secure and provide instant confirmation.

How long does it take to set up a campaign?

You can set up a campaign in just 5-10 minutes. Once submitted, your campaign goes live immediately.

Fees & Pricing

What fees do you charge?

We charge a 4% platform fee on withdrawals only. Stripe payment processing fees (2.9% + $0.30) are added on top of donations, so 100% of the intended donation amount reaches your campaign.

When do I pay the platform fee?

The 4% platform fee is only charged when you request a withdrawal. There are no upfront fees or monthly charges.

Are there any hidden fees?

No hidden fees! The only costs are: (1) Stripe processing fees on donations (paid by donors), and (2) 4% platform fee on withdrawals (paid by campaign creators).

Withdrawals

How do I withdraw my funds?

From your client dashboard, navigate to 'Withdrawals' and click 'Request Withdrawal'. Select your campaign, enter the amount, and provide your bank details. Your request will be reviewed by our team.

How long do withdrawals take?

Once approved by our team, funds are typically transferred to your bank account within 3-5 business days.

Is there a minimum withdrawal amount?

There is no minimum withdrawal amount, but please note the 4% platform fee applies to all withdrawals.

Can I withdraw before reaching my goal?

Yes! You can request withdrawals at any time, regardless of whether you've reached your campaign goal.

For Donors

Do I need an account to donate?

No, you can donate to any campaign without creating an account. However, creating an account allows you to track your donation history.

Will I get a receipt for my donation?

Yes! You'll receive an email confirmation with transaction details immediately after your donation is processed.

Can I get a refund?

Refund policies are determined by individual campaign creators. Please contact the campaign organizer directly for refund requests.

Is my payment information secure?

Absolutely. We use Stripe for credit card processing, which is PCI-DSS compliant and trusted by millions of businesses worldwide. We never store your credit card information.

Campaign Management

Can I edit my campaign after it's live?

Yes, you can edit your campaign title, description, and images at any time from your client dashboard.

How do I share my campaign?

Each campaign has a unique URL that you can share via social media, email, or messaging apps. Use the 'Share' button on your campaign page for quick sharing options.

Can I have multiple campaigns?

Yes! There's no limit to the number of campaigns you can create.

What happens if I don't reach my goal?

WarmPledge uses a flexible funding model. You keep all donations you receive, even if you don't reach your goal. You can request withdrawals at any time.
